Dr. Evans graduated with honors from Indiana University and received a national award while in school for excellence in contact lens fitting. She came to California in 1994 and practiced in San Diego until moving to Fresno. Dr. Evans does contact lens fittings, pre-and post op cataract examinations and has received international humanitarian awards from Canada and Nigeria for work in organizing and participating in eyecare in remote villages in Africa. She enjoys travel and singing. Dr. Evans also speaks Spanish and is comfortable doing exams in Spanish.
